“The Great White Lie”– veistos on vastalause verenhimoiselle tappajamyytille. Haluan tarkoituksenmukaisesti inhimillistää hain helpommin lähestyttäväksi. Toivon, että ihmiset rakastuvat haihin, sillä uskon, että rakkaudesta syntyy kunnioitus ja halu suojella.
Opiskelen kuvataidetta Turun Ammattikorkeakoulussa. Meri on minulle tärkeä aihe taiteellisessa työskentelyssäni.

I can’t stand the movie “Jaws”.
My sculpture “The Great White Lie” is a protest against the bloodthirsty killer myth. I want to humanize the shark to make it more approachable. I hope that people will fall in love with the shark, for I believe that from that love, respect and will to protect are born.
I study fine art at Turku University of Applied Sciences. The sea is an important subject in my artwork.
